It's okay, even though I'm not perfect.
This is what we want to share with you for this season. While developing this collection, we realized that the first thing we have to do is to love ourselves first, before to love the Earth, before to be kind to every kind, and before to pursue sustainable fashion.
Materials
When it comes to sustainable fashion, people easily seem to be trying to find a new technology that has never been developed before. I think people want something magical to happen. But the sustainable materials we think of are plant fibers and botanical dyeing that have been loved for thousands of years.
Rather, we try not to use new materials such as newly developed recycled polyester or nylon. They might replace animal materials. But they’re still plastic and they won’t disappear, harming us forever.
With this thought, we designed this collection using 97.8% plastic-free and 100% vegan. We especially put a lot of effort into sourcing sustainable materials for the fall/winter season. These are hemp, linen, organic cotton, and Tencel. And we’re pleased to increase the use of these materials compared to our previous fall/winter season.
Process
It is important to reduce chemicals during the dyeing process as well as the fibers for sustainability. And for this season, we applied botanical digital printing to BCI cotton canvas for the first time. Hope you enjoy our new botanical outerwear and bottoms as well as other items.
Colors
Frosty forest khaki, fertile land beige, and the winter night black navy are the base for the collection. There, past summer light pink, wildflower purple, and warm brick highlighted the color palette harmoniously.
Love yourself and the Earth.
